Q. How can I export PrimateLit search results into RefWorks?

Answer

1. Check the boxes in front of the records you wish to export or use the "Save all on screen" button.
2. Click the "Saved Records" button at the top of the page.
3. From the "Format" drop-down menu, select "PrimateLit,."
4. From the "Disposition" drop-down menu, select "Print/Save."
5.  Click the "Submit" button.
5. Select all the text on the page (Ctl-a Windows or Command-a Mac).
6.  Copy all the text on the page (Ctl-c Windows or Command-c Mac).
7.  Go to RefWorks, hover over the "References" menu and select "Import."  An "Import References" box will appear.
8.  Click on "From Text."
9.  Use the "Import Filter/Data source" drop-down to select the "b" format
10.  Use the "Database" drop-down to select the "RIS" database.
11.  Place your cursor in the text box and paste the copied text (Ctl-v Windows or Command-v Mac).
10.  Select a folder if desired.
11.  Click the "Import" button.
