This problem is the result of compatibility issues between your browser and RefWorks. There are several possible fixes:
- Try reloading the "add new reference" or "edit reference" portion of the page (right click inside the "add new reference" area and select refresh or reload).
- Try clicking the the broken page icon. This icon is located at the right-hand end of the address box in the certain versions of Internet Explorer.
- If you don't see a broken page icon and you're using IE9 or if nothing seems to happen when you click the broken page icon, try using the Tools menu in IE9, and then select the Compatibility View.
- Try a different browser. If you're using Internet Explorer, try Firefox and vice versa.
If these options don't work, you will want to get in touch with RefWorks Customer Support.
