Package inserts ( also known as PPI, PPIs, Physician's Prescribing Information) are manufacturer-specific, and, as such, are great sources of information about inactive ingredients (excipients).

PPIs for most brand-name and generic drugs and some supplements are available through DailyMed (see link below).
