A neonate-specific resource like NeoFax or Pediatric and Neonatal LexiDrugs should be consulted when determining the correct drug doses for premature neonates. NeoFax is the gold standard reference (especially for premature neonates). Unfortunately, it is no longer available to UNMC affiliates. Pediatric and Neonatal LexiDrugs is available through UNMC's "UpToDate LexiDrug" license.
