Are you using Write-n-Cite 4?
- Have you added references to RefWorks since you last synced Write-n-Cite to RefWorks. If so, click on the Sync icon in the Write-n-Cite toolbar and wait for the sync process to complete. Your references should now be available in Write-n-Cite.
- If not, perhaps your reference is in an unexpected location. Open the "insert new citation" box and use the search box in the "insert new citation" box to search for one of the relevant author's last names or a unique word in the relevant title.
Are you using Write-n-Cite III or 2.5?
- Try right-clicking on white space or the margins/sides of the Write-n-Cite window and select the "refresh" or "reload" option. (Alternately, use the "View" menu to view a different list of references and then return to the list of references you believe should contain the reference of interest. This will usually refresh the reference list). Your new references should now be available in your Write-n-Cite reference list.
- If you're still having trouble finding the needed reference, try using the Write-n-Cite search box to search for search for one of the relevant author's last names or a unique word in the relevant title.
