When you reach the UpToDate homepage, you may be confronted with UptoDate-specific login boxes. You can simply ignore the login request and use the small search box at the left, toward the top of the page to start your UpToDate search.
Even though you don't have to log in to search UpToDate, you may wish to create a personal UpToDate account through our institutional license and log in when you search UpToDate. Why? A personal account is needed if you wish to use the UptoDate mobile app. A personal account and login are also required if you want to track your UpToDate-searching hours and receive CE credit for your search efforts.
