UNMC students, faculty, and staff can request that a library owned print book be pulled or placed on hold if it is checked out to another user. Our print collection is secured and not available for physical browsing.

  1. Go to the library catalog and log into your account with your UNMC credentials by clicking the Sign In link, located in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
  2. Search for and locate the book you'd like to request.
  3. Click the Request link.
  4. Complete the form, then
  5. Click "Send Request"

When your book is ready, you will be notified via email to pick it up from the hold shelf, located near the AskUs desk on the 6th level of the library.

Nebraska Medicine employees can contact the library at askus@unmc.edu to request a title.
