The UNMC campus does energy curtailment on days with low or high outdoor temperatures. This is an effort to reduce the amount of energy used when extra stress is put onto energy systems. Because of this, it can get chilly in the library. We recommend bringing extra layers.

If your study room doesn't have a thermostat, check one of the rooms next to yours to adjust the temperature. If you are too warm, open the door to get air circulating and this will help cool the room.

Email the library at askus@unmc.edu if it's unusually cold or warm in the room.
